Guided by an experienced and diverse Board of Directors, Four Doors Housing brings together expertise across housing, finance, development, communications, public policy, and community leadership. Together, we are focused on building and stewarding housing that supports dignity, stability, and long-term community well-being.

Mandeep Kaur Grewal - Chair

Mandeep serves as Chair of the Board of Four Doors Housing and is an experienced Independent Project Management Consultant, specializing in large-scale projects within Toronto’s financial district. She holds an Honours BA in Psychology from York University.

 

Mandeep is a dedicated community organizer and volunteer with the Guru Gobind Singh Children’s Foundation, a Board Member of Seva Food Bank, and the current Chair of the Sikh Heritage Month Foundation (Ontario Chapter). In addition to her role at Four Doors Housing, she continues to serve as a Director and Treasurer on the Board of Niwaas Long-Term Care. She brings a strong combination of governance leadership, community engagement, and project management expertise to the Four Doors Housing team.

Kiratpal Singh Dhanoya - Secretary

Kiratpal Singh Dhanoya serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of Four Doors Housing and is a third-year law student at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, and an incoming articling student at a Canadian-based international law firm. His professional experience includes roles across the federal, provincial, and municipal levels of government, where he has supported elected officials and senior staff on public policy, governance, and institutional decision-making.

 

Kiratpal is actively engaged in community leadership as Co-Founder and Chairman of Sikh Sewa Society Toronto and a member of the Sikh Heritage Month Foundation. He holds a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective across law, policy, and commerce to the Four Doors Housing board.

Monica Parmar - Treasurer

Monica Parmar serves as the Treasurer to the Board of Four Doors Housing  and is an Equity Advisor with the City of Brampton, where she works to advance inclusive policy, equity-driven initiatives, and community engagement across municipal programs. She holds a Bachelor of Life Sciences with a minor in Psychology from McMaster University.

 

With a strong foundation in community organizing, Monica has extensive experience working with diverse communities to address systemic barriers and improve access to services and housing. In addition to her public sector role, she is a licensed Realtor, bringing practical insight into the housing market, affordability challenges, and pathways to homeownership. She contributes a thoughtful, equity-focused perspective to the governance and mission of Four Doors Housing.

Gurvinder Kaur - Director

Gurvinder is a seasoned communications professional with over 15 years of experience delivering strategic internal and external communications across the public and private sectors. She holds an Honours BA in Professional Writing and Communications from the University of Toronto and an MPhil from the University of Birmingham, where her research focused on gender in cultural spaces.

 

Passionate about volunteer-led initiatives that deliver practical, community-driven solutions, Gurvinder is actively engaged in leadership and governance within the nonprofit sector. She currently serves as the Chair of Niwaas Long-Term Care and supports community engagement initiatives, bringing strong strategic insight, governance experience, and a people-centred approach to the Four Doors Housing board.

Gurnishan Singh - Director

Gurnishan Singh is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in real estate and construction projects across Ontario. He holds a BA in Political Science from York University.

 

With a strong background in community organizing, Gurnishan brings practical, grassroots insight and a deep understanding of housing delivery, development, and construction to the Four Doors Housing board. He also serves as a Director of Niwaas Long-Term Care and the Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Centre Brampton, where his work continues to focus on community-led development and service.

Daniya Dhillon - Director

Daniya Dhillon is a Corporate Banker with Scotiabank Global Banking & Markets, where she focuses on the Consumer, Industrial, and Retail sectors. She has over five years of experience across infrastructure and project finance, including evaluating complex financings, supporting capital deployment, and managing risk across large-scale projects and long-term investments.

 

Daniya is actively engaged in community and civic leadership, serving as a Business Ambassador to the Mayor of Brampton and as Co-Founder of the Asees Foundation, where she supports programs addressing food insecurity, youth mentorship, and community wellness. She also serves on the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine Impact Committee. A former international-level athlete, Daniya represented Canada as a silver medalist at the World and Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships and holds a 3rd Dan Black Belt, bringing discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of community impact to the Four Doors Housing board.



Taranvir Dhaliwal - Associate Director

Taranvir Dhaliwal is the Associate Director of Development at Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Medicine. He has played a key role in the launch of the medical school, leading stakeholder engagement, advancement, and strategic relationship-building initiatives.

 

Previously, Taranvir worked across all three levels of government, advising elected officials and senior leaders on outreach, media relations, and strategic communications. He holds a Master of Political Management from Carleton University and also serves on the board of Punjabi Community Health Services, bringing strong public-sector insight, governance experience, and community-focused leadership to the Four Doors Housing board.
